About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides compassionate, personalized support to patients during their rehabilitation journey and assists registered nurses with patient care and treatments. The role includes helping patients with daily personal activities, preparing and transporting patients, and communicating patient concerns to nurses. Nursing Assistants build relationships with patients and families, learn about individual needs, and support recovery goals. The position offers access to technology and collaboration with a supportive care team.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Recognize and celebrate patients’ victories and milestones.
