About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring Nursing Assistants for full-time and PRN positions. Nursing Assistants provide compassionate, personalized care to patients during their rehabilitation journey and assist registered nurses with patient care and treatments. The role involves helping patients with daily personal activities, preparing and transporting patients, communicating concerns to nurses, and building supportive relationships with patients and families. Team members use their skills to help patients work toward rehabilitation goals and recognize their progress.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their needs to facilitate recovery.
