About The Position
Support the heartbeat of patient care. Join the CFH Cardiac Medical Routine team in a unique Nursing Assistant/US Techretary role that combines hands-on patient support with the organization, communication and teamwork needed to keep a busy cardiac unit moving. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant/US Techretary facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment. In this combined role, you'll support both patients and the nursing team while helping contribute to an organized and efficient patient care environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care but also thrives on teamwork, communication and helping keep a busy cardiac care environment organized and connected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- Post-high-school specialized training preferred
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
