About The Position

Village Crest, a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates and a Certified Great Place to Work, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Nursing Assistant Trainee (CNA). This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to 'Earn as you Learn' through a paid C.N.A. Training Program. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be guaranteed a full-time position on our overnight shift (11p-7a) at Bethel Health Care Center. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents, including attending class, lab instruction, and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam. We are looking for individuals passionate about providing compassionate care and eager to begin a fulfilling career in nursing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
