Requirements

• Must be clinically competent in the specific care area (e.g., General Nursing Units, Special Care Areas, Maternal Child Units, Nursery, Pediatric, GI Lab Unit, Chemical Dependent Unit and Psychiatric Unit, Emergency Unit, Surgical Services).
• Must be clinically competent in pediatric and high-risk adult care for the Emergency Unit.
• Must be clinically competent in maternity care for Labor and Delivery.
• Must be clinically competent in care for newborn until discharge status for Nursery care.
• Must be clinically competent in care to patients from neonate through age of eighteen for Pediatric.
• Must be clinically competent in care for toddlers, beginning age 24 months, through adult for GI Lab Unit.
• Must be clinically competent in care for adult patients and family with holistic approach to emotional problems for Chemical Dependent Unit and Psychiatric Unit.
• Must be clinically competent in care to patients from neonate to geriatric for Surgical Services.
