Requirements

  • Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/ transfer date.
  • If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
  • Document patient care activities.
