Nursing Assistant II -ORMC Multisystem ICU (nights)
About The Position
As a Nursing Assistant in the Multisystem ICU at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), you will perform patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. The ICU at ORMC is a 32-bed unit serving the adult population with critically ill patients, including those with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, trauma, heart failure, and respiratory failure. ORMC has over 100 years of service and is Central Florida's premier provider of advanced surgical, medical, rehabilitative, and emergency care, serving as the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing assistant work experience within the past five years may substitute for completion of one of the following training requirements: Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant Program, State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant certification, State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Corpsman, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic, Medical personnel licensed outside the United States.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience within the past five years in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
- No experience required for graduates of an approved school of nursing or other listed training.
