Nursing Assistant I
About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. Under the general supervision of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, the Nursing Assistant performs basic patient care, supports licensed staff, and helps maintain the patient environment. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week on the day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation. A $1,200 new-hire sign-on bonus is offered; rehires whose employment ended more than one year ago are also eligible. Pay is based on experience, with a stated range of $19.56 to $27.07 per hour. Requirements
- Education equivalent to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care and provide personal hygiene assistance.
