About The Position
Under general supervision of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, the Nursing Assistant I performs a variety of duties including basic patient care, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, nutritional support, maintaining the patient environment, and providing assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties.
Requirements
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training
- Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required
- Current CPR Certification is required
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred
- Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred
