This position is for a talented Nursing Assistant I at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA, working Per Diem on Day/Evening shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm, 11:00am - 11:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

  • Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
  • Current CPR Certification is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
  • Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, and maintaining the patient environment.
  • Provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties.
