Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide - Assisted Living
About The Position
Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant (also referred to as a Home Health Aide, CNA, Caregiver, or Resident Assistant) for Beacon Hill, an assisted living community in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The role provides high-quality personal care and services to residents, supporting their personally designed living choices while following regulations and established best practices. The position is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., totaling 72 hours per pay period. Beacon Hill is a welcoming assisted living community in a wooded residential setting. PHS is a faith-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. Team members work in a supportive, community-based environment and may have opportunities for movement and growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrated competencies in person-directed and elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self-leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all customers.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience is helpful but not required for Assisted Living.
