About The Position

The Nursing Assistant (CNA) works on the Child & Adolescent Unit of the Inpatient Facility and provides patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role works within a multidisciplinary team that includes Registered Nurses, Behavioral Health Specialists, LPNs, and Student Nurse Technicians.

The position is 24 hours per week (0.60 FTE), with a mix of day and p.m. shifts and an every-other-weekend rotation. Day shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; p.m. shifts are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The location is 301 E St Joseph St, Green Bay, WI 54301.

Requirements

• Be listed on the State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry (WI TMU).
• Be at least 18 years old; high school students and applicants under 18 cannot be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 15-minute checks of patients on the unit.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
• Walk patients to their meals.
• Assist in the general supervision of patients on the unit.
• Aid in the supervision of patient mealtimes and visitation.
• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Behavioral Health Specialists, LPNs, and Student Nurse Technicians.
