Nursing Administration Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time
About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Nursing Administration team. This position is open until filled. The role has three levels: RN 1, RN 2, and RN 3, catering to different experience levels from new graduates to seasoned nurses. RN 1 provides basic nursing care under direct supervision, intended for new graduates or those returning to practice. RN 2 independently plans and implements nursing care with minimal supervision and begins leadership responsibilities. RN 3 independently plans and implements nursing care with little to no supervision, assumes leadership responsibilities, and has mastered varied competencies in clinical nursing, maintaining competency in at least one primary float area.
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Nursing License
- RN 1: None
- RN 2: One (1) year of current experience in nursing care
- RN 3: Three (3) years of current experience in nursing care
- BLS certification required for RN 2 and RN 3
- Produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to the start of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience (RN 1 & RN 2)
- Previous experience in designated care area (RN 3)
- Six (6) months nursing at BRH (Substitution for RN 2 experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care in predictable situations to a limited number of patients under direct supervision (RN 1).
- Independently plan and implement nursing care using standards and knowledge gained through education and experience (RN 2 & RN 3).
- Require minimal supervision and begin assuming leadership responsibilities (RN 2).
- Require little-to-no supervision and assume leadership responsibilities (RN 3).
- Master varied competencies of clinical nursing and maintain competency in at least one (1) primary float area (RN 3).
