South College - Indianapolis Campus is seeking an adjunct clinical instructor for the School of Nursing. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor's degree and enrolled in a master's level Nursing program or Bachelor's degree and enrolled in or completed a nurse educator certificate program
  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Indiana.
  • Previous teaching and/or clinical experience in Pathophysiology.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience in secondary instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with course faculty and work closely with the clinical coordinator.
  • Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clinical agencies.
  • Monitor student progress with evaluations and grade care plans as assigned.
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback if needed.
