The primary role of the Nursing Academic Retention Specialist is to assist students to achieve high outcomes in academic performance, licensure pass rates, and student satisfaction with course, instructors, program, and the campus in the undergraduate nursing program. Engages students in early identification, intervention, remediation and other evidenced based coaching strategies for improved retention, progression, academic success, and NCLEX success. The Specialist assists the student in the utilization of structured resources and processes.
