Nurses (RN/LPN) - Day Shift
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Full Time Nurses for the Day Shifts (6AM-6PM) at their Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across five states, offering the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment across all levels of care, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. They are JCAHO and CARF accredited and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. They are looking for compassionate professionals who appreciate stimulating yet meaningful work to join their team.
Requirements
- Current, valid LPN licensure in Indiana
- Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
- Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appt.s and labs, updating charts...)
- Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
- Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client
