Catholic Nursery/PK2 Caregiver
About The Position
We are seeking part-time Nursery/Pk2 Caregivers for a classical and Catholic classroom for 14 hours per week for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an in-person, on-site position. We will teach you everything you need to know, so a teaching certification or formal teaching experience is not required. The ideal applicant may have experience homeschooling, working with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school. Applicants must be able to lift at least 30 pounds frequently and stand and walk for extended hours. Regina Caeli Academy is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering tutoring in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Childcare/nursery is provided for staff. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days. Applicants must sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors are trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff complete a background check and mandatory training.
Requirements
