About The Position

We are seeking a part-time Nursery/PK2 caregiver to assist in a classical and Catholic Nursery and preschool room at our center near Dallas, TX in Carrollton. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate may have experience in homeschooling, working with homeschool children, parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school. Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with childcare/nursery provided. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days as needed. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and possess a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith daily, including having received all appropriate sacraments.

Responsibilities
