About The Position

Resurrection Kids is hiring for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as a Nursery Associate. This role involves creating a safe and loving environment for infants and toddlers during services and small group meetings. The associate will actively engage children, lead activities, and use creativity to teach weekly lessons, sharing Christian teachings with each child. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for children and a desire to serve meaningfully. It offers flexible, part-time hours.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Proven Results in: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and children.
Dedicated and dependable to work assigned shifts.

Nice To Haves

Childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide safety and supervision of children.
Plan and participate with children in age-appropriate activities & teach provided lesson plans.
Thoroughly read and understand the staff manual and covenant and adhere to all Kids Ministry team policies and procedures.
Ability to work with different volunteers and staff personalities in a classroom setting.
Lead music worship time either in a large group setting or individual classrooms.
Communicate regularly with parents, co-workers, and volunteers in a positive way.
Set up and tear down Kids Ministry space weekly.
Keep CPR and Safe Gatherings Certifications up to date
Other duties as assigned.
Follow Jesus and engage in the “five essential practices” of the Christian life: worship, study, serve, give, and share.
Support the church’s purpose of “building a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians.”
Exemplify the church’s values and support its theological direction as a United Methodist Church.
