About The Position
The successful candidate will be part of a team of professionals in a GMF clinic. Working collaboratively with a team focused on access to care, their services aim to prevent illness and promote health. The clinical nurse works closely with family physicians and other professionals to ensure coordinated follow-up of patients. To successfully carry out the responsibilities of this role, the candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, strong analytical skills, and a human-centered approach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Member of the OIIQ with the title of Nurse Clinician
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Excellent written and spoken French with functional spoken English
- Basic computer skills required (Windows and G Suite)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities effectively, and execute tasks efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment (critical and analytical thinking)
- Attention to detail
- Initiative and resourcefulness
- Ability to work in a team
- Reliability, autonomy, and punctuality

- Experience in mental health and chronic illness
Responsibilities
- Assess physical and mental health conditions and determine urgency
- Clinically monitor patients presenting risk factors
- Initiate and perform diagnostic and therapeutic measures
- Provide healthcare related to contraception and STIs
- Apply collective prescriptions
- Carry out and adjust medical treatments
- Coordinate referrals to other resources
- Promote health and educate patients
