About The Position

Join the Resource Pool Float RN team and gain training and experience across a variety of departments. The role provides competitive compensation and a supportive leadership team, with opportunities to develop skills through deployments across Froedtert Health’s South Region locations. The position floats to Froedtert Hospital and Froedtert Bluemound Rehab Hospital. The schedule is 1900–0730 with an every-third-weekend rotation, and the position is 0.9 FTE. A bonus of up to $15,000 is offered. The role requires clinical competence and experience caring for and managing an acute-care patient population. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing sufficient to be eligible for Registered Nurse licensure, is required. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed RN experience at hire must enroll in a BSN-or-higher nursing program: acceptance is expected within 15 months of hire, and the degree must be completed within five years of enrollment, or six years for an MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing. A current Wisconsin RN license or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required. AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider, or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required within 90 days of hire. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 12 months of recent inpatient hospital nursing experience are preferred.

Requirements

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of an acute-care patient population.
