About The Position
Marietta Heights Post Acute is hiring a full-time day-shift nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents. The nurse administers prescribed medications and treatments, monitors residents’ conditions, documents care, and collaborates with nursing colleagues, STNAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves communicating with residents and families, promoting resident safety, dignity, comfort, and well-being, and following facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio.
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to care for others.
- Dependability, professionalism, and commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work the scheduled full-time day shift.
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes.
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with STNAs, fellow nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
- Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable state and federal regulations.
