About The Position

Join Froedtert Health’s Resource Pool Float RN team to gain training and experience across a variety of departments. With competitive compensation and a supportive leadership team, this role allows you to grow your skills through deployments across Froedtert Health’s South Region locations. The position is in the Med Surg Float Pool, spans multiple sites, and has a night-shift schedule with every third weekend. The position is 0.9 FTE. Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of acute care patient populations are required. A minimum of 12 months of recent inpatient hospital nursing experience is preferred. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing sufficient to be eligible for Registered Nurse licensure, is required. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of licensed RN experience must enroll in a BSN or higher nursing degree program upon hire. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 months of hire; the degree must be completed within five years of enrollment, or within six years for an MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing. A BSN is preferred. A current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification, or an AHA-approved equivalent, is required within 90 days of hire. A bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Requirements

Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of acute care patient populations.

Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
