About The Position
BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) who is passionate about clinical excellence, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional person-centred care. Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Minimum two years' experience in a Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Care Manager or similar leadership role within aged care
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary clinical practice
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for person-centred aged care and continuous improvement
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities
- Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Delivering safe, person-centred care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Coaching, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff
- Monitoring resident outcomes and coordinating clinical interventions
- Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance
- Driving quality improvement, audits and risk management initiatives
- Building trusted relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals
- Supporting funding assessments and clinical reporting
- Promoting a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, respect and excellence
