Nurse Unit Manager RN LPN
About The Position
We are currently searching for a Unit Manager to join our friendly, caring and supportive team! Harmony West Des Moines is looking to invest in an RN/LPN Unit Manager by providing opportunities to further your career and with the tools and encouragement you need to succeed. As Unit Manager you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony West Des Moines by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
Requirements
- Unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- CPR Certification
- Two (2) years of RN/LPN experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit
- Five (5) years of RN/LPN experience
