IntellaTriage is hiring a part-time remote Nurse Triage RN to provide nurse advice-line care from a home office. Nurses speak directly with patients and families, assess their needs, follow client protocols, and document calls. The role is fast-paced, with at least five calls per hour on weekdays and higher call volumes on weekends. The company states that patient care is its priority and that it does not use call quotas or offer PRN positions. The schedule includes weekday evening shifts and rotating Saturday-and-Sunday shifts, with availability required for two out of every three weekends and at least one weekday each week. Nurses generally work at least two to three shifts per week. Holiday work is required on a rotation. Training and orientation last three weeks, are remote and paid, and require no travel. The first training week is Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. CST; the remaining two weeks depend on preceptor availability and will likely be evening shifts. The position is remote, but nurses must live and work in a U.S. state participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact and maintain an active home-state license. IntellaTriage provides a laptop and headset. Nurses must supply compatible high-speed fiberoptic or coaxial internet, connect the laptop directly to the modem, and work from a quiet, private, HIPAA-compliant home office or space. Wi-Fi is not compatible. Nurses clock in at least 30 minutes before calls to prepare and remain clocked in after calls transfer to the next team to finish charting; additional charting time varies with call volume and work pace. Once trained for their assigned team, nurses are paid $25 per hour. Part-time nurses accrue PTO based on hours worked, receive three additional paid sick days per year, and may participate in the 401(k) plan.
