About The Position

This is a full-time Nurse Technician position in the Emergency Department, working from 11 pm to 7 am with alternating weekends. The role involves providing basic nursing care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, addressing psychosocial and physical needs, and assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges. The technician must be able to perform phlebotomy and EKGs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
• Minimum of 1 year job-related experience.
• Completion of Phlebotomy and EKG Training Program.
• Completion of Nurse Technician Program
• Legible handwriting
• Good communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Provide general aspects of care that meet psychosocial and/or physical needs.
• Assists in admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients.
• Demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy and EKG.
