About The Position

This is a full-time Nurse Technician position in the Emergency Department, working from 11 PM to 7 AM, with alternating weekends. The role involves providing basic nursing care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, addressing psychosocial and/or physical needs, and assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges. The position requires demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy and EKG.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
• Minimum of 1 year job-related experience.
• Completion of Phlebotomy and EKG Training Program.
• Completion of Nurse Technician Program
• Legible handwriting
• Good communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Provide general aspects of care that meet psychosocial and/or physical needs.
• Assists in admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients.
• Demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy and EKG.
