Join our Surgery/Orthopedics/Trauma Unit, where you will work alongside a skilled and compassionate healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, orthopedic conditions, and traumatic injuries. As a Nurse Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Our unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of surgical, orthopedic, and trauma-related conditions, including patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, complex surgical procedures, and injuries requiring specialized care. Team members have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of post-operative recovery, mobility assistance, wound care support, pain management, and patient safety. Working collaboratively with registered nurses, physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals, Nurse Technicians assist with daily patient care activities, monitor and document patient information, support mobility and rehabilitation efforts, and contribute to the implementation of individualized care plans. This role provides excellent exposure to acute care nursing practices while helping build a strong clinical foundation for future career growth.
