ICU Nurse Tech orientation lasts 8–12 weeks. Required classes begin on weekday schedules from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; preceptor training typically follows 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts. Candidates must be available for weekday orientation shifts in November, December, and January. The position is full time, with 36 scheduled hours per week, a night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., variable workdays, and every third weekend.
