Requirements
- ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent upon hire
- Three years experience in OR, Ambulatory Surgery or Pre-Admission Clinic
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with a patient care module or PC
Responsibilities
- Develops the plan of care, including the discharge process
- Coordinates all aspects of patient preparation before the day of surgery
- Provides thorough pre-operative pain management education for patient/family education
- Provides appropriate patient/family education based on learning needs
