About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations, patient care quality, and staff performance in a hospital setting. The role involves leadership across Med/Surg units, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 7 years nursing experience
- At least 5 years in supervisory or leadership role
- BLS Certification required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff across assigned units
- Monitor patient care quality and compliance standards
- Work with nurse managers on performance improvement initiatives
- Address staffing, scheduling, and operational needs
- Assist with corrective actions and staff performance management
- Develop systems for tracking medication errors and counseling
- Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality protocols
- Promote patient-centered care practices
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and DON
