Requirements
- Valid state RN license is required.
- Certified BLS before date of hire.
- Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment.
- CRRN is required after meeting eligibility requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- One (1) or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred.
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Directs assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
- Provides and oversees nursing care, implementing hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
- Maintains approved standards of patient care, collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
