About The Position
Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. We have an immediate part-time to full-time position available to support Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas. You can make a difference as a Registered Nurse by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone looking for a flexible job with different responsibilities everyday. In this position, you will be part of a growing Home Care business with your focus on supporting clients in their home in a 1:1 environment. Be part of the intake process, supervisory visits, policy, referrals, etc... Carve your own path!
Requirements
- Active South Dakota Registered Nurse license and in good standing.
- Meets the health requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Have a valid driver's license and an insured automobile.
- Able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform new nursing client onboarding and develop care plan in collaboration with client, family, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform hospitalization assessment and collaboration with other healthcare interdisciplinary team members as needed to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Supervise, mentor, and support field nurses.
- Conduct performance evaluations and competency evaluations for field nurses.
- Conduct field visits and clinical observations.
- New client and nurse hand off training.
- Delegation from Director of Nursing as needed.
