About The Position
Pomperaug Woods is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for their 3pm-11am shift. This role is for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment and leads with compassion, accountability, and professionalism. The Nurse Supervisor will bring clinical excellence and leadership presence to every shift, overseeing nursing staff, conducting resident assessments, coordinating communication, making staffing adjustments, rounding regularly, responding to clinical changes, ensuring compliance, and supporting admissions and discharges. The role also involves coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff development to foster a strong and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Connecticut
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities

- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Overseeing nursing staff to ensure high-quality, individualized care
- Conducting resident assessments and ensuring care plans are followed
- Coordinating communication between residents, families, physicians, and staff
