About The Position

Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for Long Term Care. This role follows a 4x10-hour work schedule. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of their LPN license with a solid clinical background and supervisory/management experience. The Nurse Supervisor assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing service. Some service lines may require the ability to be available on call to better support the nursing services. Assists with development of policies, procedures and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are always provided to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with department-based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships. Will provide oversight to the registered nurse and licensed practical clinical practices. Will participate in on-call duties as assigned. Assume House Supervisor role as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of LPN license
  • Solid clinical background
  • Supervisory/management experience
  • 1+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred.

Responsibilities
