About The Position

The primary purpose of the Nurse Supervisor is to provide professional nursing service to JFK-ADATC patients. The NS is an integral part of the Nursing Department and assumes the responsibility for the nursing needs of the patients across an entire shift. This position is directly accountable to the Director of Nursing for all work performed. Stays within the guidelines of the NC Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, Medical and Nursing Policy and Procedures and the regulations and standards set forth by the State, CMS and TJC. The NS administratively and clinically supervises nursing staff personnel on their assigned shift. They must work with management to oversee the daily functioning of the facility but assuring adequate staffing coverage and directing staff as they perform their duties. The Julian F. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
  • Three years of nursing experience, including one year of experience in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
