Nurse (RN or LPN) | Full-Time Days & Nights | The Lighthouse
About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse offers 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is committed to providing exceptional care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are currently hiring for two full-time 12-hour shift opportunities: Days: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Nights: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The overall purpose of this position is to assure the residents are cared for mentally, spiritually and in health. The primary responsibilities of this position include ensuring the residents are safe and free from pain or abuse and treated with dignity and respect.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in and assisted living or skilled care community or related experience is required.
- Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing care in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or post-acute setting is preferred.
- Experience with resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, and clinical documentation is preferred.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with nursing assistants and interdisciplinary care teams is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices, regulatory compliance standards, and person-centered care principles is preferred.
- Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
