Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experience Nurse Residency Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Nurse Residency Coordinator, you will: •Coordinate scheduled experiences and learning opportunities for nurse residents •Collaborate with managers, preceptors and educators in the orientation process for the new resident •Coach and follows development of new residents as they progress through the residency program •Meet with residents, managers and preceptors on a regular, scheduled basis to assess professional development and progression in RN role •Administer the national Vizient Nurse Residency survey at prescribed intervals •Develop and implement monthly classroom learning •Plan and coordinate events such as resident pinning and graduation •Oversee resident DMAIC project completion

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
  • Five years in acute care nursing
  • Certification in Nursing area of specialty, nursing leadership or professional development once eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • One year in supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in education preferred
