About The Position

Responsible for non-medical aspects of the Residency Training Program. Assists Director of program with general administration and in maintaining a quality program resulting in producing well-trained and informed Residents.

Requirements

  • High school degree required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in managing a residency program. Experience may be offset with education or other program management experience.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking throughout the working day.
  • Position will be required to stoops, bends, lifts, carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct correspondence to appropriate individual such as associations, academies, Boards, etc.
  • Contact Residency Review Committee for approval and accreditation purposes.
  • Prepare files, records, and reports for each Resident.
  • Assist Director with interview process in the selection and process coordination of potential candidates.
  • Correspond with various institutions to acquire State requirements for each Resident package.
  • Prepare and type letters of recommendation for current and former residents and attendees.
  • Stock and maintains Department Library.
  • Assist Supervisor with various aspects of office duties, including but not limited to, clerical, telephone duties, payroll, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
