About The Position

The Cancer Outcomes Research and Education department is seeking a Registered Nurse Research Interventionist to facilitate the delivery of a Supportive Care research intervention. The interventionist will lead a virtual supportive care program for patients with Triple-negative breast cancer who are transitioning to surveillance. Responsibilities include leading small‑group sessions focused on psychoeducation, coping with fear of cancer recurrence, stress management, mindfulness, and basic cognitive‑behavioral strategies, in accordance with the study protocol. Prior experience in oncology, psychosocial care, or group‑based interventions is preferred. Summary Responsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
  • Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required
  • Experience in nursing research, including study design, data collection, and analysis 3-5 years required
  • Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for publication and presentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and IRB processes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical decision-making, and professional judgment skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Responsibilities
