About The Position

Ventura MedStaff is seeking Nurse Recruiters to join our team! As a Nurse Recruiter with Ventura MedStaff, you will be building and maintaining relationships with quality healthcare professionals for our clients’ facilities. This role involves managing the recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to housing and travel arrangements for healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for meeting sales targets, attending meetings, and acting as a company ambassador. Additionally, this role includes supervisory duties such as overseeing daily workflow, conducting performance evaluations, managing time and attendance, and handling disciplinary actions for traveling employees.

Requirements

  • Basic clerical and administrative skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems as they arise.
  • Positive and go getting attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of Sales, Customer Service, Education, or Service industry experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Education or Service industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for the recruitment cycle and management of healthcare professional; sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, housing, assignment and travel.
  • Ability to solve problems when issues arise.
  • Have effective communication with internal and external teams.
  • Meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and events that occur.
  • Be the ambassador of the company, by providing a positive and professional manner to our travelers and clients.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of their traveling employees.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Manage traveling employees time and attendance.
  • Handles discipline and termination, in accordance with company policy.
