Nurse Practitioner - The START Center for Cancer Care
About The Position
The START Center for Cancer Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support its hematology and oncology services in San Antonio. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with both benign and malignant hematologic conditions as well as a wide range of solid tumors, contributing to individualized treatment planning and ongoing patient support. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team within a practice known for combining advanced oncology care with a deeply compassionate approach. This opportunity is well suited for an NP who values collaboration, clinical growth, and building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their cancer journey.
Requirements
- NP-C Board Certifications
- Experienced NPs preferred; New Grad NPs encouraged to apply
- Hematology/Oncology experience as RN or NP preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with both benign and malignant hematologic conditions and a wide range of solid tumors.
- Work closely with physicians to contribute to individualized treatment planning.
- Provide ongoing patient support.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver cutting-edge, compassionate cancer care.
- Offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment, such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and tumor genetic testing.
- Prioritize individualized care, tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs.
- Provide person-to-person support throughout every stage of the cancer journey.
