About The Position

The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers. The schedule is Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed. Service Areas include Greensboro, NC, and may involve floating to other clinics as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
Experience in a family physician setting.
Possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
BLS or obtain upon hire.
Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Uphold the confidentiality of protected health information and follow all HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight for infusions being administered in the ambulatory infusion centers.
Work alongside nurses and other NPs/MDs.
Perform as a provider and nursing functions as needed.
Travel to other ambulatory infusion centers when needed for adequate coverage.
Maintain strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
