About The Position

WarriorVets Medical Services, PLLC. is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide general medical evaluations to current and former US Military veterans. This is a contract opportunity with a clinician-owned and led health company that focuses on delivering in-person care. The role involves one-time encounters, with no ongoing treatment needs for the veterans. The company handles all administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. Evaluations are general medical evaluations, not disability evaluations.

Requirements

Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
Education and training in a US-accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters) course of study.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or certification by the ANCC or AANP.
2+ years of post-graduate primary care experience.
Established collaborating physician (if required by your state).

Responsibilities

Assess the veteran population.
Perform in-person general medical evaluations at partner facilities.
Complete evaluations that typically take 30 to 90 minutes per veteran.
Work approximately 2 days per week, with a total of eight hours of evaluation appointments per day.
