About The Position
WarriorVets Medical Services, PLLC. is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exemplary general medical services through in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. This is a contract opportunity with a clinician-owned and led health company. The role involves conducting general medical evaluations, which are one-time encounters and do not require ongoing treatment. The company handles all administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. Evaluations are typically 30 to 90 minutes per veteran, and the current need is for 2 days per week, with a maximum of eight hours per day.
Requirements
- Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
- Education and training in a US-accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters) course of study.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or certification by the ANCC or AANP.
- 2+ years of post-graduate primary care experience.
- Established collaborating physician (if required by your state).
Responsibilities
- Assess veteran population through in-person general medical evaluations.
- Conduct evaluations that typically take 30 to 90 minutes per veteran.
- Work approximately 8 hours per day, 2 days per week.
