About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team serving McAllen, Edinburg, and the Rio Grande Valley. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or vascular medicine, although we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong interest in this specialty. Our practice provides care for a broad range of vascular conditions, including Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD/PAD), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA), Venous Insufficiency & Venous Disease, Carotid Artery Disease, Cardiovascular Risk Factor Management, and Limb Preservation & Amputation Prevention.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification
- Current APRN/NP credentials required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology or vascular experience preferred
- Acute Care NP experience preferred
- Willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong interest in this specialty
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Provide ongoing management of cardiovascular risk factors
- Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
