About The Position

An independent, family-owned internal medicine practice in Tempe, Arizona, is seeking a mid-level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. The practice emphasizes clinician autonomy and high-quality care, supported by experienced, loyal staff. Its three physicians and two nurse practitioners see around 100 patients daily and care for approximately 7,000 active patients, including people with complex chronic conditions. Practice services include office visits, basic office procedures, acupuncture, on-site laboratory services, ultrasounds, echocardiograms, IV infusion, sublingual allergy immunotherapy, and behavioral health integration. The practice also has a chronic care program led by a dedicated registered nurse, a growing remote patient monitoring program, and a population health specialist who helps identify and contact patients due for annual preventive services. The role will build to 15–18 patients per day, attend monthly staff and provider meetings, and work with one or two assigned medical assistants. The practice favors non-opioid and non-benzodiazepine treatment plans and reports having virtually no patients using controlled medications. Compensation is $81,712–$120,000 per year, with semi-monthly pay and a percentage of insurance payments. The practice pays for malpractice insurance, continuing medical education, licensing, vacation, and time off to complete CME hours. Profit-sharing through a Vanguard 401(k) is offered after one year. A signing bonus is also listed.
