Requirements
- License as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Kentucky
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program in an accredited educational institution
- At least two years of broad-based professional nursing experience

Responsibilities
- Deliver primary health care to patients
- Provide individual and group health education and counseling
- Provide outreach to and advocacy for the School Based Health Center program
- Conduct physical examinations of patients
- Document medical history
- Make assessments and diagnoses of patients’ medical conditions
- Initiate treatment using established protocols
- Assist in planning, organizing, budgeting, staffing, monitoring, and evaluating the School Based Health Center program
