Requirements

Nurse Practitioner Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Physician Assistant Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
Current Illinois Physician Assistant license
PA-C certification
Current CPR/BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

ACLS Certification
PALS Certification
Previous clinical experience in family practice, primary care, urgent care, or related healthcare setting preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and patient relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

Conducting patient assessments, physical exams, and health screenings
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
Developing individualized treatment plans
Prescribing medications and therapies within scope of practice
Providing patient education and preventive health counseling
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promoting wellness and disease prevention initiatives
Delivering evidence-based, compassionate care focused on positive patient outcomes
